Hi Stuart , this will be my first lotus , I've been admiring the plus 2 for years now and saw them frequently as a child in the seventies .. I'm getting on now and need to experience ownership don't want to leave it too late lol

Hi Steve,
Good luck with the search. I'm sure if you post your interests on here you will get lots of good advice as to what's good or bad to buy. I bought a basket case to completely rebuild (probably about half way through) but I wish I had contacted the guys (and gals) on here first, I think my bank balance would have been a lot healthier

firstly John ..thanks for the link and yes thats a great looking lotus..webasto roof lets it down though
Kev...well thats pretty much what I'm looking for but not a complete rebuild..something with maybe a excellent interior and the outside to re-spray.
Paul...not particulally a 5 speed a 4 speed will be great too

Not far and you have a couple in Baddow as well.
I like the rag sunroof In the summer it gets really warm in the cockpit, a bit more fresh air would be great.
