Have a look at the photo here: http://www.lotuselan.net/wiki/Bitter_Green

It is not the same reproduced colour as here: http://www.lotus-europa.com/colors.html

I think that the colours do not reproduce that well on screen, which can lead to some confusion.

Mmmmm Tim,
Your wiki link one looks the same as mine, even got the gold pin stripe and that says Bitter Green.

Will defo have to get the paint mixed and have a better look. Paint man will match the colour either way.

I'll definatley let you know the result. Where are you based Tim?

Hi Wrighty,

As an alternative to jacking, have a look at lotuselan-plus2-f51/rebuild-t23379.html , maybe an alternative to consider.

I'm starting to really like this colour, it looks good on the car and has just enough 70's about it :)

Evening All,
Nearly five years since my last post find attached the final pics of the completed Plus 2 in its original bitter green colour.
What started as an intended minimal restoration has ended up being a complete nut and bolt rebuild.
Just need some decent weather now to run the old lady in.
Bodywork, respray and trim were done by Option 1 in Bromsgrove, they?ve done a great job.
She may not be as original as I?d initially wanted but it?s good to get another one back on the road.

Looks fabulous, especially the exterior. No doubt a lot of hard work that has certainly paid off.

Now just enjoy.

Looks fantastic!

Is the rear ride height correct? Looks a bit too high?

That Bitter Green looks very good. Well done on the restoration, which looks from your photos to have been to a high standard.

The ride height is a little high at the minute, it?s all been double checked and it?s correct. It?s only done a mile or two so we?re hoping it?s going to ?settle?
I know I?m going to be biased but I do think the colour is good.

That looks very nice, I do like the colour. Green cars seem to be growing on me.

I notice you have screwed the tunnel/footwell trim pieces on. Are they just self tappers or something different?

(Mine have no real fasteners on them so like to come away and therefore I am considering options to better secure them.)
