Hello
I am a new Elan S4 owner , I bought the car some monthes ago in the Netherlands , and found trace of it on " Bring a trailer " , it has an american registration . It is in poor cosmetic condition , but complete and running . I am on the way of making it running at first , prior to a complete restoration . I yet have driven it on a few miles , after refurbishng the brakes ; now , I work on a rear shock changing .
I also own several british motorbikes ; a Jaguar XK140 OTS , a Morgan +8 and a Ferrari Lusso .
I live in Normandy , France .

hello diablo and welcome to the forum...I too am a new S4 owner, and a recent subscriber to the forum.
Lots of helpful friendly advice and info on here! I am slightly envious of your french connection, as a francophile, and sometime frequent visitor......
Fred

Hello Elanconvert and thank you for you welcoming me with these friendly words about the " french connection " I hope it is not refering to the infamous movie about drugs .
You will be welcome at my home next time you are in France

hello diablo and thanks for the kind invitation......my eldest daughter lives southwest of paris, and my eldest son near geneva, so you never know!!! unfortunately, my trips to france have been curtailed by teenage children, a dog, and the recent sad death of a good friend, travelling companion and also a francophile.....
good luck with the resto....mine was in pretty good nick when I bought it.....needed handbrake sorting and clean plugs, but now runs great! needs a top half respray eventually, but mcroblisters thankfully don't affect the performance!!
salut
fred
