Welcome aboard AJ.

Your picture connected a long lost synapse for me. Your car was mentioned on Bring a Trailer (BaT) several years ago. As it was not an actual BaT listing, there is only one picture available now. Looks like it was on Kijiji at the time. Anyway, a few of the comments on BaT are from forum members. Very nice job on your dash! I seem to recall it was a very nice car when listed.

Thanks Stu......this helps fill in a bit more of the history......the car has "issues" but they all do in some way.....I feel it was put together to drive, and that is my intent.....and fiddling with the details adds to the fun....

Great attitude AJ! Couldn’t agree more. Should be included in the first page of the Lotus owners manual. :D My car is primarily a driver as well.

As a bit of a goal for your sorting efforts, maybe consider trying to make it to the the 2020 Lotus Owners Gathering (LOG40) in Salt Lake City September 18th to 20th. So many great routes from your area. Although we were not in the Lotus, our recent San Diego trip thru the South Rim and Zion was epic! Understand the Utah club is hoping to organize some informal driving tours around the more formal LOG40 weekend events. I am still trying to negotiate our family schedule to be able to attend, as it should be epic this year. Your car would be right at home and appreciated.

A few links if you are new to the Lotus fold...

https://lotusltd.com/log40/ Web site for the event this year

https://www.uloco.club/ Site for the Utah club putting it on.

https://lotusltd.com/ The National club that selects the LOG location every year. Plan ahead as it takes a bit of time to finalize membership prior to signing up for LOG. Great club to join even if you can’t make LOG40. Salt Lake is pretty close!

http://www.gglotus.org/ The Golden Gate Lotus Club is somewhat independent of the National Club. Given LOG40 is relatively close they may organize an informal run from your area. Not sure if they will put on their traditional West Coast Lotus Meet this year; perhaps a member will chime in?

Cheers!

For all you San Diego owners, San Diego has a chapter of the Golden Gate Lotus Club. Elans/Plus2's are sorely needed in the group. Visit the GGLC web site, and click on the San Diego Chapter.

Very sweeet!!!!!
And, I'm jealous. The weather in the midwest this winter has not been kind (again this year) and haven't had the chance to get out. Glad you are able to enjoy.
