These days, a tech savvy 15 year old with an £5 Atmel microcontroller could build an engine management system in his (or her) bedroom, but in 1967 when Bosch introduced Jetronic, it must have been all analogue. The Intel 4004 didn't show up until 1971.
Impressive stuff.
