That’s a pity. I must admit this forum is pretty much devoid of the appalling behaviour of keyboard warriors found on other car forums.

I do so agree with the above posts about this being a pretty civilised and polite forum You should see what aviators get up to on theirs. I much enjoy this forum, have learned a lot and hopefully have passed on some useful advice.
(if you ignore the black bumpers that is!!)
Well he is gone, and hopefully when the chip falls off his shoulder it will not break his toes...............

Like others, I think it's a pity, and I don't see the things you complain about enough to worry me.
So long then, good luck,

The term "knob polishing" is a new one for this Yank. But I think I get the context.

With all due respect to 2cams70, whose posts I have found very interesting and useful, and any others who have left this forum, I have always found the tone and level of discussion on this forum to be of high standard and good-natured.
Likewise.

I am both perplexed and saddended by this announcement from a more-than-capable, thoroughly helpful and prolific poster.
Hopefully time will allow his patent irritation to subside and we can again welcome and benefit from his expertise (beyond his body of work contained in the archive).
a la prochaine (as they say in Worksop)

I suppose as many (myself included) dont understand where 2cams70 is coming from, I wonder if this is something at this point in history we need to be more aware of.
As I see it, not since ww2 has the world been at such a place. 76 years ago?
Here in Canada the suicide and overdose rates have gone through the roof, or 400% higher than 2019.
As a collective, people do need to
appreciative, accepting, apologize and acknowledge each other as humans being.
This is a chat forum, based on helping others. I believe as others do, that 2cams70 only and always was a positive critique.
Maybe that is his message to us?
I for one have reacted incorrectly at times.

Shame you are leaving, 2cams70 I have found your advice most accurate and helpful. It is great having people posting on this site with a lot of experience and actually know what they are talking about, rather than enthusiastic amateurs (like myself!) .

Hi 2cams
I am disappointed to read that you are leaving the forum. I think you should reconsider as you have provided knowledgeable support to others over the years.
We need people that can give this sort of info and advice, you and Rohan certainly helped me with the rebuild of my differential (not forgetting promotor) I will miss your inputs
Good luck and thanks.
John.

I'll join the chorus. Sad to see you go 2Cams, like the others I've found your posts helpful and am grateful for your input on some of my questions. I do hope you'll change your mind!

Do hope you will reconsider I have always found your posts and technical knowledge most informative and unfortunately if the odd person forces you to leave they have won to the detriment of all others but respect your decision. As others have said other forums like the American F type forums are like a war zone
