Fibreglass (?) convertible Minis / Elans and 7s rather common / Type 14 on a shelf

Car with sloping front headlights. (Keeble / Vitesse etc) Wasn't a special Elan built like that?

Nick

Arno is a Dutch guy who comes on here sometimes with stuff for sale.

Interesting pictures, Aladdins cave springs to mind.

Arno has an address in Tunbridge Wells ( my home town) as well as Holland, but I have never met him.

I believe he was an official Lotus dealer at some stage, and obviously like minded in modifying Elans. The Sprint he had for sale recently was his own car with 2:0 ford and T9 5 speed and very likely the fastest Elan in Europe 20 years ago.

I must admit I was more interested in the 4 fibreglass (I assume) mini beach cars.

I've been doing business with Arno for about a decade. Nice guy, never had any problems with him. He's on the forum from time to time.

Arno is a very nice guy and very knowledgeable on Sevens, Elans and Elites.
I've dealt with him several times and also been to his works and house for a coffee when in Holland.
Last month he even sent me some pictures that he found of my elan S2 during a race meeting in Italy in the seventies..lovely surprise.
