Liverpool FC Champions of Europe for the 6th time. Absolutely brilliant and 2nd in the Premiership with the highest ever losing points total having only lost 1 game. Properly back in the big time where we belong.

Can't say I'd blame him. No money, no new players. There's a limit to what you can do. Over a decade now that Spurs have been in the 'best of the rest' pack. Good job I follow treble treble Celtic as well (both local teams from when I was at school - these allegiances are set early).

Congrats to Liverpool FC and their great supporters-well deserved. Having lived in the UK as a teenager , and as a longtime Arsenal fan from the first double season 70-71, Liverpool is the club I've always admired and respected the most-with such great players/managers from then through now. Its no surprise that the 3 matches I remember the most are the 71 FA Cup Final with that Charlie George goal, the 89 thriller at Anfield with Michael Thomas' last minute clincher, and Arsenal winning 2-0 at Anfield in 72-73 even though Liverpool won the league that year because it was such a great Arsenal team performance of the type which is sadly lacking now as the Gunners are but a shadow of their former selves. I had hoped Jurgen Klopp would go to Arsenal but no such luck.....

Cheers, Mark Whitaker

As someone who spent 6 weeks in Liverpool, albeit in a women's prison, I am happy for them. :D :D
