Battleship Iowa.

I was in LA last week with work. Took the opportunity to go and visit the USS Iowa in San Pedro. I always wanted to see these ships in the flesh. I wasn?t disappointed. Amazing and inspiring. Very much bigger than the ships I served on. I?m planning to visit her sister ships. The Missouri might be difficult.

If you're ever down around the Gulf of Mexico, the USS Alabama is worth a visit too.

Looks good too. Will definitely do that when, and if, I get down that direction.

The Alabama is in Mobile AL. I live there, so if you plan to visit it let me know and I will show you around; maybe even go for a ride in my S4.
