Just a word of warning to anyone hoping to buy parts from MKF.

Very sadly, there may be some delay...

I think they did most of their work with bullet boxes.

Boom boom!

Mark seemed like such a nice chap, I bought 2.5/1 or was that a 9mm box from him last Christmas.

I was very impressed by him as a chap, very pleasant ( never held a gun to my head.....!)
Such a shame.
Best await the results of investigation before putting him down.

I am fairly sure that is the exact same building where there was a rolling road facility in the late 80's called Hailsham Dynotune, the age of one of the accused corresponds with the age one of the guys would be now, is there a lineage between the businesses or just coincidence?

They sold me a X/flow Brazilian made AX block, steel crank, rods, pistons and a South African cast cylinder head out of a Superstox racer that had only done a couple of meetings.

Some may remember that I had asked about it on the forum earlier this year as I could not get any reply on a short block work paid in advance about 2 years ago... Must have rung some bells as eventually I got a word back and the resolution offered was a promise of full refund and sending me back my parts (worth in themselves more than the paid job and purchased parts).

oh well... the odds of getting back one or the other now appear at best very bleak.

There is a saying in France that goes like " promises bind only whoever believe in them"...

You might be able to buy it all back at the Proceeds of Crime auction.

In cases like this (which seems a bit similar to bankruptcy) are you not permitted to write to the police pointing out which parts they were working on that belong to you.

Worth a try at least.

In fact, if the firm had parts that belong to you, the sooner you tell the police they are yours the better, in case something is done to them. You may not get them back straightaway but they are still yours.
