Pictured here is a slave that I'm not familiar with. Bore size is 1 inch, outside cylinder size is 1.37 inches.
The Girling number is really hard to read but I think it is 6467?75?. Maybe Ford consul / Zodiac?
Europa?

It looks similar & the dimensions are correct for a Zephyr/Zodiac/Consul/Thames 400 from late 50's/early 60's, but there should be a cast lug to take a return spring, as in the picture below, & the part number for that range is 64067807, so I'm pretty sure it's not for any of those

Right, no cast lug on this one. I'm pretty certain the third digit is a 6.

Greg, that's going to be just the casting number, so unlikely will interchange anywhere.

Is identical to the one on my Sabra GT. Ford Consul.

Rob, any particular years? I want to ebay this thing off and would like to be as detailed as possible.
I ask because Tim, in the previous post, also mentioned Consul but his shows a lug. He also mentioned
50s to early 60s. Can I presume mine is later than that?

Thanks!

The car is a 64' and has a Ford 204E engine. The gearbox is ZF, but the bell housing is standard Ford fare. The original was unusable due to corrosion. Bought a replacement from Kip Motors in Dallas, but it had casting problems. Rather than go through the exchange route and getting another duff unit, I sleeved it with stainless. Wound up doing both. Pull the piston and if the bore looks good, it is worth $120 plus.

Part number 64067807 is listed as Consul, Zephyr & Zodiac MK2 1956-1962, & also Thames 400E 1957-1965 & has the lug for return spring.

This picture shows the return spring fitted on the Thames.

With a little internet digging I stumbled upon this site,
http://www.sabra.be/images/bilingua/E_Repar.htm
Scroll about half way down the page & there is a picture of two slave cylinders that look very similar barring the return spring lug. The one with out seems to be a replacement supplied by ENFORD spares , NZ, but still with no definitive answer as to it's original application. Maybe both are correct for Consul range & one is earlier than the other ?
