My wife buys anything with a Scottish Terrier or West Highland Terrier on the package. Today she came home with several tins of Stewarts Fudge Scotland. It is addictive! Another reason to visit Scotland.

We have a Scotty and a Westie. Piper the Scotty is our 4th Scotty. Buster the Westie is our first. They are great friends. Both rescues. They love driving in the Lotus. They truly enjoy car travel.

No. But it answers my question whether or not men in Scotland still wear kilts.

Maybe I should get a kilt. My dogs are currently not as well groomed. Nor would they like a bow tie or kilt.

A picture of my Westie. In need of a grooming.

They like chasing fox and mice. The Scottie dispatched 5 mice in a matter of seconds.

But it answers my question whether or not men in Scotland still wear kilts.

In fact kilts are rarely seen in everyday Scotland, except in some tourist traps like Edinburgh's Royal Mile. They are often seen at weddings however, when it is almost de rigueur for the groom, best man and ushers to wear them, and often many of the male guests will turn out with bare knees. Your photo shows a guy in full dress, which is what one usually sees only at weddings. Even I, as Londoner born and bred, wore the full outfit at my older sons wedding, held near Loch Lomond.

The Lotus Elan Net has no equal. I am and have been a member of other automobile sites and none have members that are as spirited, informational, friendly, funny and decent.

A testament to Lotus owners.

Maybe for the next Lotus meet here in the U.S. I should wear a kilt.

Just to prove it, I have found a shot of me and my wife at our son's wedding. We are both wearing skirts - I am the one with spectacles. I'm not sure why Catherine is pulling a face - probably because she is next to her "old man".

LOG 37 (2017) will probably be here in Atlanta, and I might have to bring my kilt- although mine is the modern, solid-colour type with pockets. But who knows, I might get a traditional by then.
