I see that there are U.S. football games at Wembley Stadium.

Does it attract any interest? Do people in the UK watch U.S. football?

Appears odd to me.

Seems to beg the question...does anyone in the U.S. watch UK football?

Hey Bob

I went last week for the Detroit lions and Atlanta falcons game! I will be honest, I'm not a us football fan but my best mate is a massive fan (to the point of playing us football here in the UK).

I went along and to be honest I actually enjoyed it - the crowd cheering was a bit pantomime eg shouting during the away sides play (lions) and being dead quiet for the home team (falcons).

The fact that there were loads of points also helped!

The highlight - watching a paper plane fly for a couple of minutes before hitting a falcon coach in the head - half the crowd cheered!

I'm gonna go again next year!

Cheers Gareth

I went to see an American football match at Wembley in the 80s. I think it was between the LA Rams & Miami Dolphlns. I don't remember much about the game or the outcome as I was seated right behind the LA cheerleaders :D just fantastic!
I do remember American football being really popular back then, not so sure how big it is now (in UK).
Kev.

I find all the stoppages a real pain. 20 minutes playing time can go on for 3 weeks. If there was more flow to the game IMHO I think there could be more of a following in this country

I can almost restore a complete car in the time it takes an NFL game go from start to finish.

And that is why Soccer has not taken off over here, no stoppages between plays so they can show Ads on the TV...

Very interesting!

I do not watch football either U.S. or UK.

Although it appears much of the UK and Canada are in Florida during the winter. Go to North Dakota (U.S.) to see what winter is like.

I am getting tired of winter and have been entertaining the possibility of a winter home. My wife who hates the summer heat wants a summer home in Maine. No resolution in sight.
