Winter rebuild 3 Sump

Well now down to the sump,I said that when I took it apart I'd measure things.....apart from the dipstick tube height being 3.8" (now altered to 4.5"...giving more sump capacity ) here is a scan of the sump
N.B my dangly bits may be bigger than yours as my crank throw is 77.6mm as opposed to 72.75mm as standard

Sorry but I don't have the usual sump baffle,I have a swinging pick-up and horizontal baffle..

Are your dimensions on the drawing the vertical height or the length down the dip stick? Are they from the block sump flange?
Also when I recently had a sump on the bench I put water in it and measured the height from the flange to the surface of the water. With 4 litres the level was 81mm below the flange and with 3.5 litres the level was 92mm.
That seems to tie in quite well with your figures.
