Silver soldered a short section in between the two "forward" bulkheads, put a "floating" Teflon hose in the long section to the rear ( the area that's been prone to cracking) & a very short section of the original pipe exiting at the rear.

The car's original engine cover's been turned up in New York & is now headed this way - I'm pretty happy with the original colour!

The car was ordererd by a New Yorker who came to Adelaide to see it's build completion before doing a few events (Warwick Farm, Katoomba to name a couple) before taking it to New York in early 67, where it stayed til coming back a couple of years ago. The cover missed the return boat trip!

Mags are being cast next week - yippee!!! Will comfortably have 'em machined to a finish over Christmas!
