Donation Time Again - Already

Its the 18th December again and time to make the annual donation to Jeff and the site. I know someone beat me to it this year but I have not found the post! Advancing years, 'fraid.
Anyway, looking at past donation threads I'm glad to say that there has been change and the Donate button is now very much more prominent than it used to be on the old site. Which is a good thing since we learnt during the course of this year that Jeff has been running the site for the past fourteen years at a loss and therefore out of his own pocket. So we all need to donate on a regular basis and probably also a bit more than we did last year. Along with others I made an interim donation during this year for two reasons. Firstly, I knew that Jeff was 'resting' in between jobs so his own income took a hit. Secondly, Jeff must have incurred additional costs in putting the new site together.
Jeff, thank you. I hope that work is good for you now. We look forward to your continued hard work on the site with anticipation and gratitude. May you have an extremely merry old Christmas and a superbly happy New Year. And that goes for the rest of you lot too!
Now, get back to the mince pies and wrapping.
