Before it leaves the stable to make way for an S2 Seven I thought this may be of interest to some by way of a diversion.
SB2311 is widely documented online and in print as the 1st of the Series 3 Lotus 7's, appropriately registered at some point it left the UK for Canada where is was the property of Gilles Villeneuve's Formula Atlantic Chief Mechanic. G,Villeneuve competed in Formula Atlantic in 1976/77/78 at the time when James Hunt discovered Gilles Villeneuve resulting in him driving a 3rd Mclaren at the 1977 Britsh GP.
The car was bought back to the UK still with its original Arch Motor's frame and Original engine and Brand Lotus Alloy Wheels.
Now reunited with it's original Registration number thanks to the support of the Historic Lotus Register
