A chum of mine has recently bought himself a new bolide. Since he also has an Elan, I did a compare and contrast on the Equipment List, just to show him how erm, soft he was becoming!

Brushed Aluminium Trim - Paintwork may have been brushed-by

DAB digital radio - Rare Phillips Turnolock, chum

Driver comfort package - A seat ? what more do you need?

High-gloss Black interior trim finisher - Black interior

Interior comfort package - Stop at the side of the road like everyone else

Metallic paint - Yes, actually

Park Distance Control (PDC). front and rear - Mk 1 Eyeball

Rain sensor with auto. headlight activation - Look up ? if it?s wet, it?s raining for Christ?s sake

Sun protection package - A hat

My wife had a BMW 120D - probably the most anodine and un-involving car I have ever driven. Now there is an aposite contrast :wink:
