If the Mayans were correct then this will probably be my last posted thread. I've enjoyed your company, sparring partners, unmet friends and all.
You've educated, amused and entertained me and I hope to see you all on the other side.
On the other hand, if they got it wrong - a Very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

I'll wait until the New Year to adjust my valve timing just to be on the safe side.

Look on the bright side when the Sun go's pear shaped (Solar Mass Ejection) with no computer/electronics on board (in most cases) at least whats left of us will be able to drive our Elans on empty roads

The Mayans never foretold the end of the world when their calendar ran out. It just foretold of a huge party to celebrate the roll out of new calendar for the next B'ak'tun.
But it does pose the question of whether I need to add another glyph to my birth date tattoo. ?or does this belong in the mods section?

Apparently the Mayan date prediction was for 24 December, but some wise spark thought it would sound better if it was on the winter solstice.
As it happens, we are going to an end of the world party tonight. I'm rather looking forward to it. I can drink as much as I want. I can drive home and bugger the (non) consequences. I won't have a hangover.
To good to be true? Tell me tomorrow!
