Hows your weather today!

PostPost by: memini55 » Thu Dec 20, 2012 1:06 pm

Thought I toss out a new topic today since we in Iowa are getting blasted with our first big winter strom.
We have about 10-11 inches of white stuff and high winds, and I live in the midwest why?
It is great fun and will clear in a day or two, so I get to stay home today and move snow later when it gets light.

Stay warm and enjoy your nice weather!

Wet and windy in East Yorkshire but at least it's above freezing; hope it stays that way for a few days, off to the Lincolnshire Lotus Christmas Dinner on Saturday.

40 F and a bit of drizzle, but the sun is threating to show it self today. Glad to hear that you get the day off Mark, you work to much. :D Both doors in the garage are open and the green Elan pushed out so the drizzle could give it a light coating so I could wipe off the dust that seems to gather on the surface. Please keep that white ground cover to yourself, and if you do need to move it along send it Ed's way. They like that stuff, I want to go for a drive later...

Wet, wet, wet with the pond across the road slowly flooding the raod... Car is safely tucked up in the garage awaiting the 'sunshine'...

60 deg (F) and windy. I moved to Texas to avoid as much winter as possible.

Mark, here in the Atlanta area, we're getting the warmer, 'tail' end of the storm (which now has a name, which I can't remember) and it's raining hard.

Gary you are so funny, a day off, cutting and installing ceramic tile in the bathroom.
At least it is better than plumbing!

I would be happy to send this stuff anywhere, I do on the other hand kind of like it.

Back to cutting tile!

I do have a new project in the shop that maybe later I will get to take a close look at.
Got it home just before the snow started.

West Yorkshire - very wet. I've spent the entire day (hard-earned holiday, I might add) cutting down trees, which needs doing before I fix the garage, which in turn needs doing before I fix the Elan... But I am determined to get onto the Elan in Feb, so whatever the weather, I have to get the garage done in time.

I hope its dry on Saturday!

I shoveled about 6 inches of the white stuff yesterday and now have a nice sunny but cold day outside. It seems we get your weather one day earlier than you. So, guess what you are getting tomorrow Mark?? :D :D :D

Been nice and sunny all day in Maynard, good old New England, travel 30 miles and go through three weather systems.

There is just a cold rain here in the Detroit area that will probably last all day. Can't do my usual cycling, so I'll see what I can accomplish in the garage.

We have the usual high desert winter weather. 25? F, clear and sunny. The garage weather isn't much better and no direct sun. Why oh why didn't I install that heater last summer????
