Yes, Pete, Sunday. I think it`s more interesting than the NEC Classic.

Can you report back on the parking when you've been friday. I was there last year and the field they dumped us all in was horrendous. people were up to their axles just trying to park let alone getting out.

According to the press-releases all the parking is on hard-standing, after last year's fiasco, when even the tractors got stuck.

I'll keep my eyes open and report back... but I'm always in the VIP parking anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

Better tell the wife high heels may not be ideal footwear.

I see there are a few Lotus in the auction on Saturday including the Elan GTS which is for sale with Matty. May consider spending ?20 on the catalogue to have a look.

Parking is indeed on hard-standing, as far as I could see.

Did not make it to the auction hall but did see several Elans on stands, one being Paul Tooms' green racer, didn't see Paul though.
There is a Yellow S4FHC for auction; looked nice in "Lotus yellow", the pale-custardy version, unfortunately it had black bumpers. I can post the flyer with all the details if anyone is interested. Reg: SAU 1R (not sure how they managed that. It claims 143 BHP and "will accelerate to 60 mph in approximately 5 seconds".

There was another BRG car but I'm fed up of looking at wannabe "26/Rs" that I paid no attention. I have a photos.

Best Lotus for me (and there are quite a few scattered about), was a Jim Clark racing Cortina Reg: 166RUR. My brain cell tells me that this was his first one; could be wrong. Have photos, will post if there is any interest.
