Anyone buy this one yet? It's a work effort by Evo and Octane mags and almost as thick as a soft cover bound book but really pricey at US$24.00  Good photography, an interview with Gordon Murray and his take on Colin C, some comparisons, etc. An Elan is at the front of the pack however. :D Still thinking whether or not to add to the collection.....

Yes Greg, I've got one. We were in our local WH Smiths (newsagent chain) and they have an end of aisle section where they reduce things they can't sell. This was sitting there at ?5, which is roughly the cost of your average car mag over here so I bought one instead of picking a random classic car mag.

It's worth a fiver, but I don't think I'd have paid the cover price for it. The articles seem to have been culled from past road tests and the photography is good throughout, but as you'd expect it concentrates more on the later cars. It's the sort of thing you'd get if you wanted an overview of Lotus and how they've moved through the years rather than a book with a detailed history/restoration/running of a specific older model. (which I guess is what they aimed for)
