Old Club Lotus News very interesting

Hi!

Ive downloaded some of the old issues of CLN from ther website and they are great to read!
Ive just finished 4/87 wich has a great writeup on the Elan's 25th!
As a new member (since 2006) I didnt get to read them first time around!

The only thing depressing is the prices of the cars then...

Yes they are good aren't they! The adverts are the best part and reflect social conditions and fashions of the time, lots of adverts give the address of the seller and Elan +2's are priced higher than Elan's in many cases. It's also interesting to read 1970's cars that are just 12 years old that have been fully restored.

Gary Anderson (Piss Ant) had a huge stack of old Lotus specific magazines gifted to him recently, he ran a topic not so long ago with scanned extracts of some of the articles that caught his eye. They were a great read.

Now I'm going to have to go onto the Club lotus site and spend some money downloading a few!
