Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I wanted an Elan because, many, many years ago, the ?bloke next door? arrived home in a Sprint one day, I remember sitting at our window for ages, simply looking at this beautiful little car & thinking ?I want one of those?. I would have been about 10 !
Once I was a bit older & started seriously thinking about an Elan, I managed to fall for a +2S, in my opinion, one of the prettiest cars ever to be built, (we?ll ignore the headlights, they only come out after dark) & a paragon of luxury inside. I was smitten.
I would still love an Elan but with today?s prices it would mean parting with the +2 & that aint gonna happen!! Who knows, maybe in the future ??

I got my clock cleaned at a stop light by an elan when in my Fiat years ago but I never lusted after one ---it just followed me home one day in the back of a truck and we hit it off --ed ------------------- sound of one hand clapping
