Absolutely! I learnt so much just watching and handing over requested tools.

Sadly I'm not the perfectionist that mine was!

Ah, OT again. Perhaps we should start a Dads' thread. :)

The family Cat replaced me under the car with Dad when I was finding my independence.
Apparently it never understood, pass me "the handy spanner" (1/4"-5/16" Whit.)
For Elans read 1/2"-7/16" A/F

Thats what magnets are for. Find some handy ferrous substance and place your strong magnet on it and the handy wrench is right there with the nuts that you removed. sometimes the wrench is still under the chassis waiting to be used again the next time.

gary

yep, raining today

Just like the spanner/wrench that some P.O. used as a spacer between the "frame" & the body underside on my S4.
Talk about Elan "bodges" but at least he/her did put a spacer in!

Ooh; time for a new "Bodges" topic, I think!

DON'T forget Rosin!

You can have a multi-million pound Guarnerius instrument, combined with a scores of thousands of pounds Tourte bow, but without the use of rosin on the bow you won't get a sound out of them :o .
