Articles on LOG 30 and Frank Costin

Two interesting articles in the April issue of Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car. Colin Chapman was not only a great engineer himself but he engaged other brilliant designers like Ron Hickman and Frank Costin. The articles will probably be on the web when the May issue is out.

Colin's greatest asset is that he could spot the talent that he needed and use it to it fullest and his best advantage. Frank Costin could take ideas and make them work with very little compromise. Mike Costin knew when the bait was cut and it was time to catch fish. A lot of great folks passed through Lotus on their way to better things, It must have been a great education in short time working at Lotus in the Late 50's and Early 60's.
