French Trip

anyone got any good roads in France between Pas de Calais and the Vendee?.....(Lille to La Roche sur Yon to be precise)
got a couple of days each side of a trip to the Vendee in September so thought Id take the wife and get out in the country
see some sights etc........
avoiding Paris....done that...

I was only joking a little... But seriously, you still could add a stop at Le Mans museum, have a look (or visit) Chartres, Angers etc...

yet to convince the wife about le mans...
I go to the classic and have been to the normal one too.....
I think at least a 'drive by' would be good though ......
