Thanks for the link, so it was cancelled because of lack of any support from the Lotus traders. :(

This could be an ongoing problem for future Lotus Shows, I do hope its not.

Interestingly, I?ve not yet received any e-mail notification from Club Lotus re the cancellation. :?:

yes lack of support.......or is it location thats causing the lack of support?
speaking to people at malvern I got a distinctly mixed response.....some liked it some didnt

personally I preffered Donington simply for its location (and there was a track for the ones who'd rather have a thrash round)....I know alot of the guys from 'up north' didnt come because of the distance......I also know that quite a few guys from europe didnt come as they usually flew into east midlands and stopped at the local hotels......

anyway I suppose thats for Alan at CL to decide......

oh and Donington is now back open again.......Ive just watched the BTCC racing from Donington on ITV4 :)

Malvern and Donington are about the same distance for us , from France .
This year , it has been good fun to be at Malvern with "OEW" , but we are still a few to prefer Donington ... And I am the first .
Too many reasons for that : The track -and generally cars lapping- making the number bigger , the F1 museum allways a newbee to go with , the airport , for some of us their favorite B&B , the proximity with some parts dealers , etc ...
I know we are not going to make the decision , specially because the Elan owner are becomming rare , but if each vote stand for one...
Christian.

Pleasant Mount ... ;)
Arrived at 4 O'clock on saturday after a 21 hours drive and get the location of the hotel asking a short dressed busty night bird ... Malvern welcome.
