Spring cleaning in January? Things are too quiet arond here

OK, the temperature skyrocketed up to 52 degrees fahrenheit and the snow is all gone so I turned on the heat downstairs (well actually I opened the kitchen door on the south side and the upstairs bathroom on the North side of the house) and got my French maid dress on and did the vacuuming that I have been putting off all Winter. The dog hair was getting a a bit deep in the corners and beauregard hasn't been sheding (would you if you were sleeping in a 42 degree room?), after that I got the mop out and did the the stairs. You should have seen the look in Beau's eye's when I walked by in that fancy getup. He's been couped up as long as I have and I didn't dare turn my back on that dog. Hope I'm not boring you all, with all of the talk of Lotus Elan's and the like that you missing out on. Anyway I don't have a picture of me in the maid uniform but here is a nice one of the 1963 GE vacuum (aka Hoover, it used to have a nice cloth braided hose (not stainless) but it kind of fell apart ofter I got it so I upgraded it a bit with a new hose and new cord).

I love the sound of a torque wrench in the morning. Sounds like... progress.

Cleaning

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my butt,
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my good work.
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops - I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into it -
I was into it all night.

So nothing's changed except my mouse.
It's as shiny as the sun.
I guess my house will stay a mess.....
While I sit here on my bum.
Beware of the Illuminati

A classic case of cabin fever..........................emigrate to a warmer more moderate climate..on the other hand a Maids uniform is perhaps not that bad, could be worse like buying a shapecraft......................
