Lotus back in F1

With all the news about the new "Lotus" team I was interested to read this interview with Colin Chapman from 1967

There seem to be a lot of similarities with comments you hear from team bosses now days, it was particularly interesting to read his views on sponsorship and the details of driver payment.

These are Jpg images and can be zoomed in to read the text easier, they are quite large files though to keep them readable.

I also found this snippet in the same magazine regarding the way in which the country deals with a fall of snow, seems nothing much has changed in 40 years!

Fascinating stuff Dusty! It seems like Deja Vu all over again, doesn't it? Here's hoping for a good result for Lotus among the new teams at least. I like their driver selection...two pro's who know how to develop a car.

And I'm thinking Indy in three to five years...
