I certainly dont bare any grudge DJ. I see it more as carrying out a public service, as a warning to others, that this creature could not keep his word if his life depended on it. So a PM would not hardly warn others, would it.

Don't want to spoil your conversation but back to the thread: The best reg plate I've seen was on a UK Volvo 850: Eighty OB: "80OB"...

I was reading that as "sieve" as in "leaks like a ..." - a common condition for many a Lotus! :lol:

The best number plate I saw in the mid 70's was 505EXY on a RR in London.

I later found out that it belonged to the wife of the biggest porn impresario at that time in the UK

i own J2OMEO, my surname is Romeo. i had to take it off my car due to people constantly making hand gestures at me and a few key scratches on my doors :evil:

BTW.....my plate was originally on, you guessed it, my dad's Ford. 1964 and '65 were the only years that New York State required a single plate, on the back.
