Just read the Spider/Elan comparison last night. A fun read, although I can't say the outcome was a surprise.
A few years ago I was pretty close to buying an E30 M3, but they were about ?10k then, C&SC now say they are as much as 25k!

I actually found Martin Buckley's "Backfire" very interesting too. Anyone who complaines about Lotus un-reliability should read his comments on the Ferrari 500 Superfast
