4 hidden users? Are folks embarrassed to be seen on this forum now? How sad

A lot of the time I am logged on but have the laptop closed and dealing with other things.

In Essex we are trying to become a seaside county (the whole of Essex). I can't remember the last day it did not rain here. The garage has flooded so I have been spending time I would rather be fixing the +2 digging drainage ditches. Still it could be worse; next door their sewer flooded their house with 12 inches of poo water. The garage is mostly dry now so fingers crossed I will get back on the +2 next week.

No; no hiding for me and always happy to help if I can.

I don't think so. But on occasions guests can outnumber registered & hidden combined. e.g.
like now:

Dear Gary and other regular contributors-

As a long time "guest" (lurker) and recently registered user, I never thought about the effect of accessing this site without logging on. Do I show up as a "guest" or "hidden user"? Is there some connection to site ad revenue, though surely minute? I do see that "Last visit was:" shows the last time I actually logged on, as only my ISP address would be available when I didn't, yes? So, not nefarious and not ashamed, just lazy and clueless. I'll log on if it makes any difference.(Thread Drift Alarm) And nice progress on your two projects, Gary. Good pictures and explanation of a sensible build strategy. I just got a digital camera and will attempt posting as soon as I decipher all this 21st century techno-stuff. There's a reason I like this 60's car. On Board Diagnostics? That would be us.
