I will also be there, most likely Saturday as well. My S3 is still in the workshop and unlikely to be ready, so it will be either a Sprint or an Ace Bristol (neither of which are mine), location dependent on the car...
John, I am really looking forward to seeing your car as your writing about it (in a magazine) was one of my primary motivations behind my S3 FHC purchase. I figured if it was so highly praised by both you and Gordon Murray it must be the best choice for me!

Yes I`ll be there. It`s an excellent event, not quite as good as in the old "Coy`s" days but second only to the Goodwood Revival in my opinion. We`re trying the Cholmondoley Pageant of Power this weekend for the first time.
Back to Silverstone; for ?99 for 2 you get tickets for all 3 days, entry to the concerts on Friday and Saturday nights (Pussycat Dolls, Blue, Santana), infield parking, a classic car run around the cotswolds on Saturday and 2 laps of the circuit on Sunday. Fantastic value.
