I guess pretty much everyone will have received this from the Club Lotus mailing list, but I thought I'd put it up here anyway:
Hi there -
I have been told to contact you by Club Lotus, who have said you should be able to help.
I am putting together a book for a UK publisher called Classic British Cars and we have a section on the Lotus Elan. I am therefore looking to photograph several models for inclusion in the book. I was wondering if you might like to put any of your members in touch with me with a view to photographing their cars for the book.
The cars I am looking for are:
Elan S1 1963'ish (main feature)
Elan S2
Elan S3
Elan S4
Elan Plus 2
If you can help I would be very grateful and so I look forward to hearing from you.
Kindest regards
Mirco

Hello Mirco,
I'd be happy to send you some pictures of my stock 1964 S1. The dashboard, steering wheel, hubcaps, wheels and seats are original, engine and chassis as well. It was repainted in it's original white color, I also have a factory red removeable hardtop. It's the continental/USA version, six round lights/reflectors at the rear and left hand drive.
