Weather is looking suspect so Elan will be confined to garage. Using wifes car (Z4) needs must!

Hi Stuart,

Here's an e-mail I just rec'd. Seems like things are looking gloomy about crossing the cahannel.

Hi John,

in fact I have just left Oostende poort onboard the ferry to Ramsgate - but booked in advance a week ago .... - if you show up without reseravtion, you have to wait easily 2 days to get aboard the next vessel !!
France seems to be completely blocked.

I?ll have a beer on your behalf at Donington.

Take care, Joerg

Cheers
John

Thanks for the tip Christian,

I'm against the "Tunnel" so long as there are terrorists around, not to say that I'm a strong swimmer if a ferry went down.
In this case I've bitten the bullet & given up.
I hope all of you guys do get together & regardless of my previous sarcastic remarks, that you to get some group photos together.
(I would have done it  )
Apart from than that there will certainly be some fantastic cars there, not just Elans. I hope that a lot of photos from the event will be posted.
I'm sure our friends from the "Antipodes" & those "across the pond" would be grateful

Cheers
John

John,

Really sorry you'll not be there this year - we'll raise a glass or two to your health.

We're off to Donington tomorrow for early start on Friday with set-up.

Fingers crossed for decent weather - local forecast is for sunny intervals and hopefully no wet stuff, let's hope they're right

See you all there.

Alan.

Anyway have that drink on me, anything up to 8 quid
I hope you have a great time & that all runs well.

Cheers

Aaaaargh!
don't do that to me now Mark.

Roll on 2010, I'll be a free agent then, maybe the house prices in GB will have dropped down to somewhere near normality by then & becoming once again resident in GB could be on the cards.

Cheers

I also have to admit to being dumb with computers & digital Photography but am learning slowly.
Try giving FastStone Photo resizer a go; it's a free download & works for me sometimes.
For normal people it should work all of the time  :D :D
