twin cam covers

:D hi, a friend of mine has asked me sell some twin cam engine parts and we don,t have a clue to there value, there two twincam covers,one has the lotus script along the sides the other across the front. he is going to give them a light shot peening tonight to get some old paint off. will try to post some photo,s any advice welcomed.

First thing, don't blast them...if you use the wrong media, you will end up with a few ounces of scrap aluminium.

If they are straight, and don't have cracks around the mounting holes, they will be $150 / ?90 on eBay, give or take. A bit more for one with the script on both sides.

I agree with Mark. Don't blast them. Clean them a bit if you like but basically leave them alone. I'd put them on eBay, two seperate listings, take good pictures and give an honest description, and see what they do.... you'll get a fair price. Eric
