Is anyone going to the classic this year?
I will be their parking with the French club but may take the M100 instead of the +2. Depends which one hasn't broken down at the time!

Hope you all enjoy it. I've just come back from the main event last week. Some campsite grounds still a bit boggy but hey-ho.
Couldn't take the Elan this year, but it's still a reasonable outing - I must get the wife to move her birthday so I can go to the classic.
One thing I might ask you all to look out for. If when leaving the event, you go North on the old N1, see if any old-timers are lining the street. Since the completion of the Autoroute a year or two back, the roads are now empty of spectators - a great shame.

Got the final bits and pieces through today for the CLOGs (Cheshire Lotus Owners Group). We are camping in Karting Nord this time and will be displaying(!) with the rest of the Lotus Clubs on the Bugatti Circuit. Please do pop over if you fancy one of Gareth's fry-ups.
Due to the very strict dress code this year the CLOGs will be wearing distinctive Gentleman's headgear. Any "out of town" CLOGs attending may wish to apply, at our campsite, for the appropriate corbeens.
Photos from the event may (or may not) be displayed here:

Hi
This is my first post, I will be going with the GT40 Enthuisiasts Club, been every year since it started Great event.
We are camping in Karting Nord the first year we went we had 6 cars there, this year we have 58 Fortys attending.
BBQ Saturday night at the camp site for 220 members (should be fun) sold the forty last year and brought a 69 DHC S4 se, I know, I know, it's not a forty and it has not got the grunt of the forty, but for sheer driving pleasure the lotus wins hands down.
If you are passing pop in and say hello.
Regards
Ian
