I roared laughing at the actor with the plastic moustache and wig pretending to be Chapman- he was doing an engineering drawing with a chinagraph pencil with lines about 4mm thick and pretending to "measure" this drawing with a pair of inside calipers. :twisted:

Apart from the dodgy acting it was pretty interesting.

Whilst the Lotus 25 might have been the first monocoque racing car; yet another thing that Chapman did not invent (including the "Chapman" strut: see Colin Chapman's Lotus by Robin Read) was the monocoque car. The programme makers had obviously never heard of the 1923 Lancia Lambda (or even the Citroen Traction)! :lol:
