Rhubarb will be there as last year (see photo) No, the dollies are not mine, only borrowed.
My mate Phil, and his Pistachio Sprint may not be with us this year, he has gone down with a nasty virous. Hope he gets better in time. If poor Phil can't make it, has anyone got a mint Sprint they would like to put on my stand alongside Rhubarb.
See you all there
Gordon

I'll be there on Saturday - my Sprint is not nearly ready but I am hopeful that next year I will have finished the refurb.
I was last at Donnington in my Sprint in about 1985 and remember vividly the bonnet lifting off at about 100mph on the straight - had to complete the lap with one hand out of the window holding the bonnet down!!
Looking forward to the meeting very much, quite a few parts on my wanted list.
I will aim to be around Clive's stand at around 12ish as suggested in previous post. Would be nice to put a few faces to Elannet names. [Pete - I will look out for you, I am a bit greyer and more receding since a year ago!]

The CLOGs (Cheshire Lotus Owners Group) will be easily recognisable in their new club clothing.

I'll be there on Saturday.
Hope to meet a few of the usual contributors.
I would bring the Elan but I am a coward! It's now done 800 miles and just had it's first oil change but flogging it up the motorway probably won't help the running in process much....
I'll be in a silver S1 Elise BXXORR

Regret to say that my S2 has gone crook at the last minute (no dynamo output), so will not be there
Probably due to all the late nights we've been having together
I will be coming up however, so hope to put a face to the names.
Cheers

What time are doors opening tomorrow, by the way? Unsurprisingly, Club Lotus are not answering phones today.

Saturday 1000hrs to 1630hrs
Sunday 1000hrs to 1600hrs
Some mouthwatering stuff too:
"This year we will be remembering Jim Clark, Lotus' greatest driver. A fabulous display of his cars including Lotus Type 25, 33 and 49 Grand Prix cars, 32B Tasman, his first road Elan and Cortina plus a special film compilation of his career and a photographic wall will honour his achievements. Ron Hickman's Elan+2 prototype will be displayed in the foyer alongside Malcolm Rickett's unique M20 Metier - the original Lotus concept car that became the +2. Both Ron and Malcolm will be at the show to tell the story of these two stunning and important cars."

Message from Susan Miller about Donnington:
"We are very disappointed that we are unable to attend this year?s Lotus show at Donington at the end of March. We know that Elan owners like to rifle through our stand to see what new little gems there are. Also we ourselves like to see the faces that go with the telephone voices. It is always nice to see visitors here at chez Miller or give us a call and we will be delighted to tell you what we have. Many of our customers like to pre-order parts to be collected at the Show. For those customers we will be happy to send out orders carriage free."
I hope this missive does not violate the forum rules, but I know posters will want to know what Susan is up to.

I'll be there Saturday with the wife and baby, sadley not in the +2, I actually cannot remember the last time I drove it ( I am sure Matt can tell me).
The current house is going on the market in 2 weeks and a new double garage/ house is being sought to facilitate the +2 rebuild.
