It looks like a nice unit, but it is a bit small. Once you start using air tools, you find more and more uses for them, next thing you know, you're constantly waiting for the compressor to catch up. I have a 6hp, 60gal vertical tank, it doesn't take up much space and the supply is always adequate.

Match capabilities to needs.

Each tool will have its air requirements posted, either on the tool on in the user manual. This is often in SCFPM or cu ft per minute.

The compressor will also be rated for SCFPM. In addition, the tank capacity serves as a buffer if the tool takes air more quickly than the compressor can supply it.

Thus if you have an air drill rated at 5 scfpm, for sustained useage you need a compressor rated above 5 scfpm. If the compressor has a 50 gal tank, that can supply maybe 20 minutes continuous to a tool rated at a consumption of 10 scfpm, but don't plan on it.

If you are going to paint, get a two stage compressor. A good compressor is going to cost a bit (and certainly more than the advertised special), and will sometimes have specialized needs for electricity, noise isolation, and cooling.

Sometimes you can get compressors on the second hand market, or sell yous when (if) the project is completed.

Made the trip, thanks for the tip off.

It looks quite good 9.5cfm which is good enough for most applications.

Also bought:
power winch , power ratchet, impact wrench air saw sand blast gun.

All very cheap how do they do it I could not buy the materials to make the stuff for what they are selling it for?

I am sure china has declared economic war on the west. soon they will own us!

I made the trip and shelled out too .....

Seems good quality, and 3 year guarantee.

Not professional quality, but this type of kit will only get my occasional use.

Fingers crossed.

Regards,
Stuart.
