For those 2 of us still on dial-up could we have a brief run-down?

Is there anything startling that we don't already know?

Cheers
Ralph.

Ralph

It is an interesting programme. Quite a bit of historical perspective about Chapman building up Lotus, mostly racing cars rather than road cars. There are no Elans, just a shot of a +2 going around a corner at Hethel.

The interesting bits are interviews with Graham Arnold, Tim Entwhistle, who was Chapmans aide, Tony Rudd and a couple of journalists. Stories of Chapmans mistresses, some parties and his involvement with DeLorean are what constitute the Secret bit in the title.

It's a well produced 48 minute show. BBC was involved. My favorite part was the fireproof road map glued to the firewall and sprayed with silver paint.... those are the secrets I "admire".
It's truely a shame the twin chassis idea was stopped. Every car on the road today could've benefited from that idea.
