Shell Commercial with Ferrari racing cars

PostPost by: jcocking » Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:59 pm

If you have not seen this commercial, it is worth watching.

It was done by Shell, in celebration of their 60 years of collaboration with Ferrari, and carried out by their agency, Partizan.

The director for the shoot was none other than Antoine Bardou-Jacquet. You may recall AB-J for his work on Honda?s legendary ?Choir? commericial or one of HP?s latest ads for their ?The Computer Is Personal Again? campaign.

For this ad, Shell and Partizan closed down roads in New York, London, and Sydney. Some have estimated that it might be one of the most expensive commercials ever produced. We think it was worth every penny.

Went past Harrods I reckon. Also Monaco and Rio in there and the opening shot must have been in France - Rhiems? Wonderful sound track!

Darn poodle!

The link you mention doesn't work from my computer. I found that one working. http://www.partizan.com/partizan/commer ... ou_jacquet
Tim, to me the opening looks like Northern Italy but I am not an expert!
