Touring the Alps

PostPost by: Vanden Perre » Fri Mar 02, 2007 2:32 pm

I plan to tour the Alps with my S3 in June.
Does anyone did it already? Any recomendation? I think particularly to carburation. How does the TC behave above 2000 m (6000 ft), is there any carburation adjustment needed?
Olivier.

We did the Rallye des Alpes last year in our S3 with no adjustments and no problems, including the St. Bernard and the Col d`Iseran. Bear in mind that the difference in atmospheric pressure varies dramatically between low pressure stormy weather and high pressure fine weather and I don`t think anyone adjusts their carburation or timing because of the weather.
