Hi Gareth,
this topic would possibly reach more people on "things in common" or "racing", I just stumbled across the heading.
I definately want to get to this meeting & started yesterday to put feelers out for a freebee ticket.
I've been there before, it's always a great day.
The guys who race on that circuit must have massive balls!
It would be great if you would put me on the "beggers" list & let me know what's possible.
Cheers John

Thanks to Gareth & CLOG for organising the Olton Park event.
I enjoyed the racing, paddock & meeting all you people.
There were a number of you who were interested in the cross flow radiator fitted in my S4.
Here are the part numbers from my records:-
Behr L 21.255.10.003
BMW 2125510003
(cost about 8yrs ago ?86. Privileged price?)
Cheers

I was nice to see some new faces from on here at the Gold Cup and it was my pleasure sorting your tickets out.......
I think I right in saying that we lotus owners had the greatest numbers and the widest age range (the cars I mean..) starting with 1958 Elite ( the lotus 6 was left in the garage as it was abit too wet) all the way up to the latest S2 Exige......if we'd have left it a couple of months I sure we would have had the new europa there too!!......anyway a good spread of cars with about 10 from each decade starting with the 60's.....(elite, Elans S2, S4, S4 sprint, +2, +2s, europa, cortina, 7, elite/excel, esprit s3, s4 350, M100, M100s2, elise 111r elise 111s exige s1 exige s2....dont think Ive missed anyone....)
excellent racing and the weather was OK with just the odd shower but all the racing was dry!!!! and people were camping over the weekend too!!!!
I shall be volunteering to do the same next year (its always the sunday and monday of the august bank holiday) and will be more than happy to accomodate anyone off the list for tickets etc etc etc......even if there's anyone from foreign lands...just let me know (obviously a bit nearer the time) and I'll sort your complementary tickets.....
cheers
