Not tried it yet in anger ( need a bigger socket  )

But appears to fit very well.

I initially got in touch with him via Ebay from a Previous listing to ask if he made them for the 3 eared fastener.
Really good comms and when he made the next batch he let me know they were available

?55.00 plus postage and quality and fit are pretty good and certainly way better than I could have knocked up myself....
Might add a bit of sacrificial foam or similar material for added protection which I have seen others do.

Hopefully this will stop any future damage to the freshly coated wheels or the new spinners when they go on...

Cheers all

Mel

Fifty Five Pounds?!? Holy cow! Order one for each wheel!

Thick leather like shoe sole at the contact points works brilliantly.

Lionel's spinner tool is great, but do be careful with your freshly coated wheels. It tends to contact with the wheel itself and can scape the paint off.

I recommend care, or better still a bit of fabric glued to the offending surface. (of the tool not the wheel).

Cheers for the advice JP, will take a look at that and add a protective layer.

May I alter this topic a little?

Many years ago at Donninhgton I saw a wheel spinner tool called "Spin It Off" being demonstrated. I made a mental note to buy one when I got nearer to actually needing it. Sadly the company seems to have folded. Does anyone have one that I could copy?

Why would you want to at that price, it?s probably less than half the price of others.

I bought one of Lionel's prototypes around 5-6 years ago now and it's been absolutely brilliant.

Never had an issue with marking. I use a 900mm long breaker bar and it works a treat
