In all honesty Ted I don?t know which is ?correct? - knowing Lotus it was whatever suited them or they had in the parts bin on that particular day. If you look at my photo of the 10/11 there?s a mixture of silver, black and bare metal plug spanners. Easily sorted with a rattle can!

though originally would most likely be black oxide, much more durable and customary for tools methink...
