Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I have just tried out my new Accuspark strobe timing light and it seems to work fine. My only queery is that the clamp that fits over the ignition lead is a very loose fit. Is this ok for it to work correctly or is there a way of making it a better fit? My leads are the thinner 5mm type.

It's an inductive pick-up and doesn't need to be in firm contact with the HT lead.
