Homemade rotisserie

Just completed my rotisserie last weekend. Very well balanced (for a series 2). I have a total of four cars I'm putting 26R fenders (wings) on. Three are mine and the fourth is for the owner of a project I sold. Previously (over the last 20 years) I've done three 26R conversions without a rotisserie so this should make it so much easier. I can also mock-up suspension/wheels for proper alignment of new fenders. The rusty chassis is just for the rotisserie/mock-up, I have new TTR chassis' for the project(s).

Looks good, I'm planning on making one for my MK1 escort restoration. I should have done this when I was restoring my elan.
They are expensive to buy and the ones that are availiable seem more suited for large amercan cars.

I'm sure it cost much less than the $1000+ being asked on e-bay

Next project on my rotisserie, 26/4811, my 1965 Elan S2 autocross car/daily driver from the 70's is now receiving 26R fenders, in place of the bubble flares it use to have, along with a full restoration and new TTR chassis. Yes, the fenders are carbon fiber, as will the hardtop, hood (bonnet), trunk (boot) lid and dash, be carbon fiber (all double skinned with lightweight core). Not for the purists, it will also feature a fuel injected twin-cam mated to a Tremec T5 5-speed, using a "Quick-Time" SFI certified bellhousing. All 4 fenders are now installed and inner fenders to accommodate 225 width tires are roughed in. Additional pictures are of my mock-up tire (no I'm not going that big!!! but it sure keeps me honest on tire clearance) and inner fender. Mock-up tire is now mounted, allowing me to verify clearance through full range of suspension travel. In the background of the first picture is 26/4748, ready for paint, my RHD car being restored to F.I.A. specs. If you look really close, there is a third S2 body hoisted to the ceiling in the garage, above my Esprit and barely visible is a classic Meyers Manx body, below 26/4748.
