Uprated Brakes For S4 Se?

PostPost by: marianner » Wed Jun 09, 2004 10:27 am

Does anyone have any experience of uprating brakes and advice on whether just changing pads (and if so to which ones) makes much difference? Or what else could be done to the brakes to make the Elan safer from BMW drivers cutting it up etc?

Thanks
Marianne

The usual mod is to fit +2 front disks and calipers.

You will need:

+2 disks
+2 calipers
+2 caliper mounting brackets
+2 disk pads
some spanners and a morning

This has been discussed before, try searching the archives

We should go easy on these BMW drivers, they're probably just trying to get their bloated cars back under control.
